Dear Capay Parents and Community,
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed some time off. The weather has been beautiful and I've enjoyed lots of walks with my two labs, Susie and Red.
As we welcome the students back, let's all remember that all of our protocols and procedures are still in place to maintain the health of everyone. Thank you for your support and cooperation. I have been very proud of the consistency we continue to demonstrate in following the rules for face covering and distancing while on campus. It has been a week, so thank you for going over with your students what the expectations continue to be at school. It will also be important for all of us to model the expectations and use kind reminders to encourage a positive school climate and learning environment.
Thank you also for your patience and care during the pick up and drop off times. Drive carefully and use caution so that all our students will be safe.
Please check out the weekly bulletin as we are starting the canned food drive this week. We will collect the donations as the kids arrive at school so they won't be bringing them to the classroom and we will keep the tally for each class in the office. There is also the 4-H Coats for kids drive and the trimester awards on Friday! We will record the ceremony in each class and sent it our immediately following the ceremonies
I am excited to be coming back and continuing with in person instruction. Have a great rest of your day, contact me with any questions and see you tomorrow!
As always, please call, text or email me with any questions. Can't wait to see the students in person!
