Happy first day of Spring, Capay Colts! This Thursday, wear your crazy socks to school for Down syndrome awareness. This Friday, we have our first Boys' and girls' softball games at Vina Elementary School. Playtime is 12:45 p.m. This Saturday is our monthly Saturday session for grades K-6. Remember to sign your student up if you plan on them attending. Enjoy what spring will bring!

We celebrated Read Across America a little differently this year by decorating our doors in the book we love! What's your favorite door? The winner will be announced tomorrow at school, with the grand prize being popsicles! Happy end of the week, job well done Colts!

It was a snow day for the 4th grade @ Capay! Thank you, Mrs. Lohse and our amazing parents, for making this annual snowshoeing trip to Mt. Lassen a success.
Colt Club will be hosting another Saturday Session on Feb 24 from 8am - 5pm. Students do not need to attend all of the hours that are offered & the session is open to ALL CAPAY STUDENTS in grades K - 6th. We are collaborating with Capay’s Harvest and we will be making some delicious “Eat the Garden” treats. There will be fun activities, crafts & games. Weekly Bulletin Feb 19th - 23rd
Congratulations to our Capay Girls and Boys Basketball teams on a fantastic season! The boys finished with a 1st place victory in the end of the year tournament while the girls finished second. We are so proud of the great sportsmanship each team showed throughout the season. Thank you to our bus driver, Jackie, for taking the team to the games. Also, a huge thank you to parents who not only helped with travel but supported the teams throughout the season. Lastly, thank you to our coaches, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Herringer for their dedication and hard work this basketball season. Way to go, Colts!
Capay 4H has a meeting tonight. The deadline to register for a S.T.E.M Fair project is Thursday; ask your teacher for more information! The Vina Basketball Tournament is this Thursday & Friday @ the Orland Rec Center. No School Friday, "Happy Presidents Day," and a reminder: Orland youth football & cheer registration are tonight at 6 for returning players and this Saturday at noon for new players.
